Do you think he can? And at a high level? Those years riding the bench u think help.

Despite a pair of clavicle injuries which have shortened a pair of seasons, Aaron Rodgers is feeling good. And thus healthy, he's going to get asked about how long he wants to play, because that's just what we do with quarterbacks. The 34-year-old Rodgers (who will hit 35 in December) told Peter King of NBC [more]

Yes, I think he can. If he can remain healthy. The collar bone injuries , I don’t believe will affect him that much. Not actual injury to his arm, so his throwing should be fine. No serious injury to his legs, so that’s good.
The 3 years on the bench should keep him a little fresher in his later years. But 40 is still 40, and no one knows how that will affect him. Everyone is different. Just because Favre was still good at 40, and Brady still is, doesn’t mean Rodgers will or won’t be.

Does it make you feel better that it's actually 5.5 years away? (he doesn't turn 35 until December, lol)

If he stays healthy and focused then yes I believe he can play until he's 40 at a high level...

Though note I said a high level, maybe not HIS high level of play. In other words he might not be a clear contender for the best QB in the league, but still top 10.

Pack93z (20-Jul) : Why did Revis fall off so sudden? Personally, because he only relied on physical tools he had... short area burst to close and speed. Once gone... he was toast.
gbguy20 (20-Jul) : how has harris been doing as a coach? I've always wanted him or chuck to come back to coach ehre
Zero2Cool (20-Jul) : Revis mastered crazy closing speed and holding lol. Dunno, maybe he can coach. I don't think so.
beast (19-Jul) : Harris has been coaching with the Chiefs since 2013... Andy Reid seems to like hiring former players. He's also the one that got Doug Pederson into NFL coaching.
gbguy20 (19-Jul) : Harris is coaching??? Why the he'll isn't he doing it here
beast (19-Jul) : In some aspects, I completely agree with you. BUT Revis also mastered the jam at the line, which he learned. Just like some guy named Al Harris who is currently a coach in the NFL.
Zero2Cool (18-Jul) : Revis was a freak talent, he can't teach that. Same reason why Jordan can't coach. (jus my opinion)
beast (18-Jul) : Wonder if Revis might be interested in helping teaching in Pettine's system
