Not entirely true. He figured it'd happen if they missed the playoffs. He didn't think it'd ever happen mid season. That's where he was saying it couldn't have been handled any worse.

I really hate media these days.

People are going to read into things whatever they want to

They just want their opionion to be the right one .

I include myself in this statement.

I read the McCarthy story and thought wow Mike could have played the victim, but as he always has, he took the high road.

Tyler Dunn has been added to my "don't read or listen to list".

This will pass.

Another "big" story will happen if not before the draft, it will be the draft

The decisions have been made.

Like it or not, they are what they are.

The draft will come and go, another season will be here soon.

Time to get on board with The Packer organization.

National Sportstalk radio is pretty much a joke anymore.

Local shows in my area actually talk about sports. Probably the same in your area.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Boy Buckeye, in my opinion, your post really NAILED it!
Good job! You made great points, and stated them all well!
(I better stop.....or I’ll make your head too big to put on a Packer hat!😂 )

It seems that what used to be sports news has turned into “shock jock radio”. If you actually just try to report actual sports news, people will tune to the “Jerry Springer” types instead.

The local shows here, speaking of The Fan 107.5 will try to siphon any momentum off national stories that they can. You can even tell they don't really believe it at all, but they play long just to get callers on their lines. And the few times they ignore completely stupid stuff, they get people tweeting and calling saying how can you NOT be talking about this??

They will do what it takes to get listeners.
Otherwise the people will tune to another station, and jobs will be lost.
