Being named SB MVP as a defensive player does not guarantee your team a SB victory. I would rather see Jaire be an all pro and have Aaron Rodgers win the SB MVP. If a QB is going to be the SB MVP I'd bet anything his team is winning it all.

Very true but I will take my chances on a win if he's the SB MVP.

If Jaire won the Super Bowl MVP after 3 INTs (including one for a pick 6), 1 sack, 3 or 4 PDs, 8 tackles and blanket coverage, I'd say theres a very good chance GB won the game.

(And it would probably take a stat line like that for a defensive player to win since offense rules the day in the NFL right now)

I believe the Super Bowl MVP has been awarded to a member of the losing team just one time out of something like 50 Super Bowl's. That being said, I am comfortable with my original statement. 🙂

Only 10 times has a defensive player won the MVP award (and two of those recipients were co-MVPs of the same game: Harvey Martin and Randy White) with Chuck Howley being the only time a player won while on the losing team in Super Bowl V.
