You can't really beat me so, might as well not join. BUT, in fairness, might as well let you try.

By many estimates, the next two business days are the least productive non-holidays in the United States.

Go Marquette Warriors!!!!

Interesting. I'm on PTO this week but won't be watching a minute of basketball.

I didn't join this year but my youngest son and I are going to be at the final four tournament in Minneapolis from the fifth of April through the ninth.
I never thought I would ever be doing this in my wildest dreams.

Let me begin by saying I can't stand Bruce Pearl. He's expediency instead of integrity has gotten him into trouble at every university he coached at including when he was an assistant at Iowa back in the 80's. While it is true he has had winning programs I seriously question his morality. His first wife filing for a divorce because he was cheating on her. He was suspended by the NCAA while at Tennessee.

With that said the kids on the Auburn team are simply amazing. They narrowing beat 12th seed New Mexico State who I picked as my biggest upset. I figured they would not win again. Wrong. Beating # 4 Kansas, #1 North Carolina AND then #2 Kentucky is an amazing feat. They probably had the most difficult route to the Final Four.

Congratulations to the young men at Auburn. Pearl, go eat a bug.

Have a great time.

My mom and dad went to a FF. This was before they started to use the domed stadiums. It was quite the event. Mom didn't understand very much about the teams but she knew it wasn't something they would have a chance to do again.

To top it off, the Michigan State Spartans coached by my old friend Tommy Izzo are in it.
Tommy began his coaching career right here in Ishpeming Michigan.

Go Sparty. Make the B$G proud. My son's father in law is a huge MSU fan. Naturally my son is contemplating following Big Blue. Both carry emotional baggage so is not sure.

Your groveling is accepted. You had two entries and couldn't do it. I had only one although it was pretty pathetic results. I never pick the actual winners.

Sorry. I thought "Kevin (the original)" was your first bracket. Must have been your dad. I thought you were messing around with on bracket and then put out your (The Final Version) one later. mea culpa

Yeah, my "Final Version" was in response to his "original version". Implying that after me, there's no need for another! 😃

Nonstopdrivel (10-Jul) : The fonts are cleaner, the colors more pleasing to the eye. It would be nice to have a dark theme for nighttime, though.
Nonstopdrivel (10-Jul) : Except for the inefficient use of space and the illegible dates in the sidebar, I much prefer this theme to the old one.
